Labyrinth Ministry
The Community Reformed Church is the home of a growing labyrinth ministry founded and facilitated by our pastor, the Rev. Dr. Tim TenClay. Pastor Tim is a trained and certified by Veriditas as an Advanced Labyrinth Facilitator and an serves as Regional Representative and board member for The Labyrinth Society.

Labyrinths are, essentially, long paths coiled into a small, safe space. People have been using them for over four millennia. Unlike mazes, there are no dead-ends and no tricks. There is generally a single pathway that takes you to the center and out from it.
Labyrinths have been used by many cultures and many traditions for many reasons – while they are not uniquely Christian, they have been uniquely embraced by the Christian faith as a helpful tool to facilitate prayer and meditation.
The Community Reformed Church has offered open labyrinth walks for All Saints Day since 2019 - in 2020 we created a large, outdoor labyrinth that was available to the surrounding community 24-hours a day. We were also privileged to provide Covid-compliant walking opportunities for the 2021 World Labyrinth Day.
The next World Labyrinth Day will take place on May 4, 2024. For more information , check out their website at www.worldlabyrinthday.org and check back here or contact Pastor Tim for local activities.
